Chicago school pairs power workout, nutrition education

Students at Chicago's Gary Comer College Prep get a high-powered workout as well as nutrition education as part of the school's program to fight obesity and promote healthy lifestyles. Teacher Orlandus Thomas developed an aerobics program that emphasizes students' ability to "practice health-enhancing behaviors and reduce health risks" and combined it with classes on cooking, diet and nutrition.
