First lady calls on veterans to explore new health care options

First lady Michelle Obama has called on the 1.3 million American veterans who are currently uninsured to take a look at options for coverage now available to them as a result of the Affordable Care Act. "If you don't have insurance, there's now a simple way for you and your family to get all of these benefits, along with the coverage you need," Obama said in a blog post, urging veterans to seek coverage through the Department of Veterans Affairs or new health insurance exchange programs.
