NIST releases draft of cybersecurity framework

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released a draft of a cybersecurity framework for managing risk. The voluntary framework seeks to provide a common language for organizations to share and improve cybersecurity and risk-management approaches. The agency has sought feedback from stakeholders before it publishes an official draft for comment this month. The final draft will be published in February.
