Qualcomm will work with HTC on redesigning a chip for the HTC One smartphone after an International Trade Commission judge ruled last month that the IC infringed upon radio-frequency patents held by Nokia, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Without a change in the component, the ITC could potentially ban the HTC One and other handsets from being imported into the U.S.
