Report: Online travel agencies can draw consumers from suppliers

Consumers are usually more loyal to hotel companies than online-based travel agencies, but that loyalty can be drawn away by the agencies themselves, according to a new report. While consumers are typically more likely to initially prefer to purchase directly from a supplier, overall purchase intent on leading online sites such as Expedia and Travelocity outperforms suppliers.
