Dean Foods to reduce work force due to commodity costs

Dean Foods said it would reduce its work force by 2% to cope with the continuous increase in dairy prices. "It is a tough decision, but it is a necessary action to improve our competitive position," Dean Foods Chief Executive Gregg Engles said.
