Canadian canola can be used for U.S. biofuels

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has designated Canadian crops including canola and corn as "renewable biomass," allowing them to be used in U.S. biofuel production. The move to allow foreign renewable-biomass feedstocks is a first in the U.S. "I suspect we will see more canola moving into the U.S. now," said Canola Council of Canada President JoAnne Buth.
