Sizzler goes retro on pricing to bring back former fans

Steakhouse chain Sizzler put a $7.99 steak and chicken dinner on the menu this week, a promotion designed to match the 55-year-old chain's 1990s prices and appeal to people who haven't dined there in years, said CEO Kerry Kramp. The eatery will sell the meal at cost in the hopes that customers will add on extras, but the main goal is to get people in the door to experience the revamped restaurants, he said.
