Vt. school adopts sign language for all

School staff members and students at a Vermont elementary school are learning to incorporate sign language into their communication. The effort is part of the school's inclusion initiative and seeks to increase communication with five students at the school who have hearing impairments. "There's no separation. Everyone in this building signs to some extent, janitors included," special-education teacher Rachel Boisvert said.
