Cutting-edge technology helps bring energy to California

The first General Electric H System to be used in the U.S., capable of reaching 60% thermal efficiency, is only part of the cutting-edge technology being used for the Inland Empire Energy Center's construction. Southern California's new plant, set to be complete in 2008, will generate 775 megawatts of power for the energy deprived region.
