Injection urged for euthanasia method in Alabama city

With most animals put down each year in Alabama occurring at shelters, an animal advocacy group is pushing to eliminate the use of gas chambers to euthanize animals at the Cullman Animal Shelter, one of only five shelters in the state that have a registered gas chamber. The group is proposing for the use of injection as a more humane method of animal euthanasia.
