CMS proposes revisions to Medicare and prescription drug programs

The CMS on Monday recommended revisions to the Medicare Advantage and Part D prescription drug benefit programs. Under the scope of the Affordable Care Act, the proposed rule would authorize the agency to terminate underperforming Medicare Advantage and Part D sponsors.
