Adobe breach leads to loss of millions of encrypted credit card numbers

The private data of nearly 3 million Adobe users is now in the hands of hackers, according to company officials, who say the software developer was the victim of a sophisticated cyberattack that breached customer logs and source code. Adobe says the stolen data include order information and encrypted credit and debit card numbers and added that it is addressing the breach by resetting customer passwords and contacting relevant banks, among other things.
