Aircraft purchasing grounded for now

Aircraft can't be bought, sold, imported or exported during the government shutdown, because the Federal Aviation Administration has closed its registration function, deeming it not essential. Some are pushing to get the function reopened, saying halting aircraft registration could mean violating key treaties.
