Job-seekers with disabilities may face special obstacles

People with disabilities are only half as likely to be employed as their able-bodied peers, according to an annual Cornell University report. Company diversification efforts rarely include people with disabilities, in part due to misconceptions about productivity, health and accommodations, says Rick Diamond, the Disability Network's director of employment services.
