Arizona researchers get $33M from federal stimulus funds

Researchers in Arizona have received 101 research grants from federal stimulus funding that amount to $33 million, according to an analysis of NIH records. The funding will be allotted for research in various areas, including the behavior of kissing bugs -- insects associated with a blood-borne disease affecting millions of people in Mexico and Latin America.
