CTIA event: AT&T, Verizon expand Motorola, Android portfolios

Motorola will produce its first Android-powered phone for enterprise users, the Droid Pro, for Verizon Wireless, Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha said at a pre-event leading up to the start of today's CTIA Enterprise & Applications Show. Also, AT&T will sell three new Motorola phones that will run on Android, the companies said. Jha also said Microsoft's recently filed patent-infringement lawsuit against Motorola would not deter the phone maker from developing handsets based on the new Windows Phone 7 software.
