$75M donation expected for Stanford's stem cell center

Stanford University is expected to announce today that it has received a $75 million pledge from Business Wire founder Lorry Lokey for the construction of its stem cell research center. The $200 million facility, which will break ground Oct. 27, could become the largest institute for such research in the U.S.
