Amazon offers higher royalties to U.K. e-book publishers

Amazon has expanded its 70% royalty offer on certain e-books sold via its Kindle Digital Text Platform to authors and publishers in the U.K. The higher royalty rate has been available to U.S. publishers since June. To qualify, books must fall into a certain price range, be at least one-fifth cheaper than the printed version and be available in several countries.
