Report: Global drug sales will increase as much as 7% next year

Worldwide sales of prescription drugs are expected to climb between 5% and 7% to as much as $890 billion next year, driven by continued growth in China and other emerging markets, according to data from IMS Health. The U.S. will remain the world's biggest market for pharmaceutical products, with sales estimated at $320 billion to $330 billion next year.
