LightSquared sees no cash-flow issues as GOP pressure mounts

LightSquared executives insisted last week that the company would have adequate funding to construct 40,000 base stations for its proposed national wireless network, even as it continued to come under pressure from Capitol Hill. "We are absolutely confident we can raise the capital that's needed," CEO Sanjiv Ahuja said in an interview. The company needs to raise $3.5 billion to build its mostly satellite-based network.
