Symantec issues Veritas upgrade

Symantec has introduced an upgraded version of its Veritas storage-management suite that is designed to make it easier to leverage existing infrastructures into the private cloud by automating key functions and supporting multiple virtualization technologies and operating systems. The company also added a new tool, Virtual Business Service, to its Veritas Cluster Server 6.0 and Storage Foundation HA 6.0 to manage business services across a variety of platforms.
