Leaders should get used to continually being watched by their workers, writes Jeff Thomson, president and CEO of IMA. That means bosses must model the behavior they want from employees. "They must set the tone for excellence and appropriate business behavior in everything they do. These behaviors must be continuous and genuine, not situation-specific and contrived," Thomson writes.
