Indian firm banned from drug sales in Ghana

Ghana has banned the Indian pharmaceutical company Bliss GVS Pharma from drug distribution in the country following the discovery that it had sold fake anti-malaria medications along with a local company. The fake medication had not been registered in India nor had any clinical trials been conducted to confirm its safety and effectiveness, according to Ghana's Food and Drugs Authority.
