Nielsen to offer metrics on TV tweets

Nielsen is introducing its Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings product to measure the reach of TV-related tweets, though interest from advertisers and networks remains to be seen. Measurements will note programming-related tweets and how many times they are seen by accounts. Brands must not forget "the overwhelming majority of conversations about TV shows still take place offline," said Ed Keller, CEO of the Keller Fay Group.
