New York pension-corruption case draws guilty plea

Former New York state Liberal Party leader Raymond B. Harding pleaded guilty to accepting more than $800,000 in bribes from a former state comptroller. The admission was among the more dramatic events in New York State Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo's investigation into corruption involving the state's pension fund. Harding has been described as one of New York's last political bosses.
