Early ADHD diagnosis raises depression, suicide risk

Children diagnosed with ADHD between the ages of 4 and 6 had 10 times the risk of being depressed as adolescents, compared with peers without ADHD, researchers said. These children also were twice as likely as other children to have tried suicide, the study found.
