Stamford Hospital's KIDS' FANS program gets United Way grant

Stamford Hospital's KIDS' FANS program to fight obesity received a $20,000 grant and the Healthy Kids Innovation Award from the United Way of Western Connecticut. The program, which helps at-risk children develop healthy eating and lifestyle habits, was chosen because it combines exercise, nutrition, family involvement and measurement to address the health needs of children.
