P&G Entering Final Year Of Transition

Procter & Gamble CFO Clayton Daley says the company is on track to make 2002 the final year of its restructuring effort, with double-digit profit and sales growth in sight by fiscal 2003. P&G's shift in strategic focus to high-profit areas such as health care and beauty apparently has shored up its brand and cut costs.
