Nursing teacher, lawmakers push for Office of National Nurse

An Oregon nursing teacher is leading an effort to create an Office of National Nurse, whose mission would be helping teach Americans how to take better care of themselves. Legislation for the office was proposed after Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif., one of three nurses in Congress, spoke with the Oregon nursing teacher, Teri Mills, about her idea at a professional conference.
