Survey finds fewer obese, overweight people this year

A Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index survey found that 35.8% of Americans were overweight and 25.8% were obese in the third quarter of this year, a decrease from 36% and 26.6%, respectively, in 2010. Researchers also noted a slight increase in the number of normal-weight individuals from 35.6% in 2010 to 36.6% this year.
