Academic research is a hot topic at FPA Denver 2010

How planners and academics can unite to expand the knowledge base of financial planning with more empirical research was a popular subject at the Academy of Financial Services conference that is running jointly with FPA Denver 2010. A panel of practitioners spurred academics to get a better feel for the daily work of planners and agreed that planners and academics would be a natural research team. Harold Evensky, CFP; Guy Cumbie, CFP; and Ruth Lytton, Ph.D., were some of the panel members.
