Canonical is chosen to manage HP public cloud

Hewlett-Packard has selected the Canonical open source operating system to power its recently announced HP Cloud Compute and HP Cloud Object Storage. The companies say they are working together to develop a scalable solution for a variety of business sizes. The OpenStack cloud solutions from HP are currently in beta testing, but no release date has been set.
