Google releases multination mobile survey

The full range of data from Google's global survey of mobile usage is being made available free of charge, Google announced at the MMA Forum in London. The MMA collaborated with Ipsos GmbH in compiling "Global Mobile Research: The Smartphone User & The Mobile Marketer." "This is one of the most extensive, far-reaching standardized surveys on smartphone user behavior ever conducted," Nicole Leverich, Google's group product marketing manager of mobile ads, said of the study, which covered five countries -- Britain, France, Germany, Japan and the U.S.
