Review: New iPhone will have its day in Asia, but competition is stiff

Apple's iPhone 4S is likely to be a big seller in Singapore and Asia, even though one of its highly touted features -- Siri voice recognition -- is unlikely to win fans in the region. One reason is that it's not clear whether Siri will be able to understand English as it is spoken in Singapore and elsewhere in Asia. Otherwise, the new iPhone's sales are expected to depend largely on pricing, as Android phones now offer competitive or even superior features.
