Square eases requirements to attract bigger businesses

Square, whose clip-on credit card reader lets individuals and businesses collect payments using their mobile phones, has dropped its practice of putting a hold on funds in an effort to win over big-business customers. Previously, Square reserved the right to hold funds in new customer transactions of $1,000 or more for up to a month.
