Human resources leaders need to do a better job assessing business consequences associated with employee turnover, lawsuits, talent gaps and poor employee behavior, Peter Cappelli writes. Once they have done this, "[h]uman resources leaders have to take the lead and basically persuade others in the organization, especially the risk managers, as to what those business consequences are," Cappelli explains.
