FEMA to release flood assistance to Wyoming

The Federal Emergency Management Agency will be sending disaster-relief funds to Wyoming to help pay the costs the state incurred from recent flooding, said Charles Dugger of FEMA. Flood-related costs are expected to exceed $6 million, but could have been greater if state and local governments had not taken a proactive response to reduce the effects of flooding, Dugger said.
