School officials in Bath, Maine, are sending all of the district's teachers, principals, education technicians and librarians -- 255 employees -- to the annual MAINEducation Conference on technology. This is the first time a district has sent so many of its staff to the meeting, which will be teacher workshop day. "This is a good opportunity to invest in our people, to help them see what's possible. We need to be asking how the use of technology is creating a more effective lesson and acknowledging where it is not, or cannot," said the district's technology coordinator, Dean Emmerson.
