Study results show linaclotide reduces IBS-C symptoms

Phase IIb study results presented at the ACG annual meeting show linaclotide improves abdominal pain, relieves constipation and helps reduce other symptoms in adults with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. Study data show patients found relief within one week of beginning treatment.
