Cablevision, Fox face Friday carriage deadline

Cablevision and News Corp.-owned Fox Networks have until Friday to hammer out the details of a new carriage agreement that includes TV stations in New York and Philadelphia as well as cable networks such as Fox Business News and Nat Geo Wild. According to this report, the sides remain far apart on financial terms, and a Cablevision spokesman released a statement asking News Corp. to "stop threatening to pull the plug and instead negotiate a fair agreement."
