State letters express concern about BPA

The attorneys general for three states have sent letters to 11 makers of baby bottles and baby formulas asking them to stop using bisphenol A in manufacturing. Although the Food and Drug Administration says research indicates BPA is safe, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal says the federal agency has been "asleep at the switch."
