CNN sets the pace with coverage of first rescued Chilean miner

CNN averaged 3.9 million viewers during the 11 p.m. hour Tuesday, when the first of 33 Chilean miners was pulled from the ground. Fox News Channel's coverage attracted 3.4 million, according to this report, and MSNBC averaged 1 million. CNN also was No. 1 with the primary news demographic, viewers age 25 to 54.
