ITUC wants bigger role for women in peace building

The ITUC is lobbying for signatures on a petition to support a U.N. resolution that ensures female involvement in peace-building efforts. The group wants stronger enforcement of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1325, adopted 10 years ago, that supports women's participation in conflict prevention and resolution.
