Google chief notes surge in mobile ad revenues:

Advertising through mobile devices has boosted revenue by a factor of 2.5 over the past year and is on track to generate $2.5 billion in annual revenue, says Google chief Larry Page, noting the role of Android devices in the hands of 190 million users. Nikesh Arora, Google's chief business officer, says mobile ad revenue growth is "driven primarily by mobile search."
