Ask your network for help -- again

Don't be afraid to go back to your network for help more than once if your job search becomes long term, experts say. But try to be as specific as possible with your requests. "If you can't give a coherent, responsible answer to the question 'How can I help you,' then you don't have the right to ask for help," says Eileen Wolkstein, a career coach.
