New Zealand moves toward online exams

Secondary-school students in New Zealand soon could be taking exams online. As the country makes the transition from paper-and-pen tests to high-tech exams, officials say they will test the exams for glitches, monitor students and roll out the new exams gradually in a pilot programme -- perhaps starting next year.
