Wyo. administrator training focuses on instructional leadership

New training for principals and district administrators in Wyoming will be focused on their roles as instructional leaders. The training sessions, being held by the Wyoming Association of School Administrators, will include a workshop offering time in the classroom, where principals will practice coaching teachers and conducting classroom walk-throughs. "The whole focus of this is to make the focus about the instruction happening in the classroom, not the other pieces," Carol Illian, a state education supervisor, said.
