Gay-only ENDA to get House vote

House leaders reportedly plan to move ahead with a vote on a version of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act without transgender protections. Although House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., in a Friday night meeting with activists, pledged to hold a vote on a trans-inclusive version once it garners enough support, many LGBT groups are rallying behind the United ENDA campaign to retain the trans protections in the measure.
