Stem cell facility in Arizona nears completion

The Celebration Stem Cell Centre being constructed in Gilbert, Ariz., is close to completion and slated to open in January. The center, which will focus on storage, processing and private banking of umbilical cord-blood stem cells, will be the first stem cell facility in the state. The center also is planning to accept cord blood donations for use in medical research.
